more About Me
Welcome, I’m Chris.
As both a caregiver and someone who has walked alongside families through fragile beginnings, developmental journeys, neurodiversity, sensory differences, and long seasons of care, I’ve seen how deeply meaningful support and connection can be.
My own life has also given me a personal understanding of caregiving across generations. While supporting a child with developmental and sensory needs, I have also helped care for an aging parent living with dementia. Those experiences have shaped the way I think about communication, accessibility, encouragement, and the quiet emotional work that caregiving often requires.
Over time, I began to see a common thread connecting many different journeys: the importance of feeling understood, supported, and not alone.
In addition to sharing articles and resources, I am also an author of books, journals, and practical tools created to support families, caregivers, and individuals navigating unique life journeys. Many of these resources were inspired by real experiences, questions, and challenges encountered along the way, with the hope of helping others feel informed, and supported.
Here, I share gentle resources, reflections, encouragement, and practical tools created for caregivers, families, neurodivergent individuals, and those navigating developmental, sensory, communication, medical, and memory-care experiences.
Whether someone is learning to feed in the NICU, communicate through pictures, navigate sensory differences, or reconnect with familiar words and images later in life, I believe compassionate and accessible support matters.
My hope is that you’ll find reassurance, understanding, and a sense of connection here. A reminder that caregiving, nurturing, and supporting others is meaningful work, and that no one should have to navigate it alone.
